Teflon Don, real name Donald Askew Jr., an American Recording artist/producer whose passion for music has been evident since a young age. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Teflon Don obtained his name while in the military. He created beats on pots and pans while free-styling being a cook in the Us Army in Fort Hood Texas, he was gifted the name Teflon Don.

Teflon Don's musical journey has been marked by a series of notable achievements. He has released numerous albums to critical acclaim, with his most recent release “God The Government The Game pt 2” garnering particular praise for its innovative sound and thoughtful lyrics with features from DJ Khaled, iHeartMemphis, Chris J (courtesy of the Bar-Kays), Porcelan, Young Buck. He also started off as an original theme songwriter / performer for the Memphis Grizzlies and obtained a license from the NBA.
